20-year-old Swedish singer, songwriter and idiosyncratic soul-pop talent Erik Hassle believes in taking things slowly. It’s just as well. Debut single–now signature tune–”Hurtful” took a year to start climbing the charts in Sweden. Songs comprising his first album, “Hurtful”, “were recorded in ten studios from between 17 and 20,” Erik says. But growing up takes time, and the melodrama, passion and lovestrickenness he felt as a teen bore fruit in the collection that includes “Don’t Bring Me Flowers”.
